12. Our Review Process

After receiving a request, FindRemoteHub may:

  1. Review the submitted information.
  2. Verify the requester’s identity or authority.
  3. Inspect the affected page and application link.
  4. Compare the listing with its original source.
  5. Contact the employer, submitter, or source platform.
  6. Temporarily restrict or unpublish content where appropriate.
  7. Correct, retain, restrict, or remove the content.
  8. Inform the requester of the result where reasonably possible.

The action taken will depend on the nature of the request, available evidence, applicable law, and potential risks.

  • Fraud
  • Phishing
  • Malware
  • Personal data exposure
  • Company impersonation
  • Copyright or trademark disputes

  • Correct part of the content
  • Replace or remove a logo

  • Suspend or terminate a submitting account
  • Refer the matter to the relevant source platform

FindRemoteHub may choose the action considered proportionate to the issue.

15. Requests We May Decline

FindRemoteHub may decline or delay a request when:

  • The affected content cannot be identified
  • The requester does not provide sufficient information
  • The requester’s authority cannot be reasonably verified
  • The request appears fraudulent or abusive
  • The request concerns content hosted only by an external website
  • The content has already been removed
  • Retention is necessary for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes
  • Applicable law permits or requires the content to be retained
  • The requested action would affect information unrelated to the requester

Where possible, we may explain why further action cannot be taken.

16. External Source Content

Removing content from FindRemoteHub does not remove it from:

  • Himalayas
  • We Work Remotely
  • Employer career websites
  • Applicant-tracking systems
  • Search engines
  • Other job boards
  • Other third-party websites

Requests concerning the original source must also be submitted directly to the operator of that website.

FindRemoteHub cannot require an external website to remove or modify its content.

17. Search Engines and Cached Copies

After content is removed from FindRemoteHub, an older version may temporarily remain visible through:

  • Search-engine results
  • Search-engine caches
  • Browser caches
  • Web archives
  • Third-party indexing services

FindRemoteHub does not directly control how quickly third-party services update or delete cached copies.

Removed pages may return an unavailable or not-found response while external indexes are being updated.

18. Restoration and Disputes

A content submitter, employer, or rights holder may dispute a removal decision.

A request for reconsideration should include:

  • The affected URL or listing information
  • The reason the decision is disputed
  • Supporting evidence
  • Confirmation that the requester is authorized to act
  • Any corrected or replacement information

FindRemoteHub may restore content when:

  • The original complaint is withdrawn
  • The issue has been corrected
  • Appropriate authorization is demonstrated
  • The evidence does not support continued removal
  • The parties resolve the dispute

Restoration is not guaranteed.

19. Records of Removal Requests

FindRemoteHub may retain limited records relating to removal requests for purposes such as:

  • Documenting actions taken
  • Preventing repeated imports
  • Responding to disputes
  • Detecting abusive requests
  • Protecting website security
  • Complying with legal obligations

These records may include contact information, affected URLs, supporting communications, and the result of the review.

Records will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

20. Abusive or False Requests

Users must not submit requests that:

  • Contain knowingly false information
  • Impersonate a rights holder or company
  • Use forged authorization
  • Attempt to remove legitimate competitor content dishonestly
  • Threaten or harass website operators
  • Include malware or unsafe attachments
  • Abuse the reporting process

FindRemoteHub may reject abusive requests and restrict future communications from repeat offenders.

21. No Guarantee of Immediate Removal

FindRemoteHub aims to review legitimate requests reasonably and carefully.

However, we do not guarantee:

  • Immediate removal
  • A particular decision
  • Removal from external websites
  • Removal from search-engine caches
  • Restoration after removal
  • A response when the request is incomplete, fraudulent, or abusive

Requests involving immediate safety, privacy, phishing, or malware concerns may receive priority.
